Summer Interpretive Programs
Every summer, from the first week in June through the first week of August, Vicksburg National Military Park offers summer interpretive programs covering everything from Civil War life, activities, and professions to artillery and rifle demonstrations performed by park staff and volunteers using the drills taught to the soldiers and sailors of the era. The following 2014 schedule lists days, times, and locations for each program presented throughout the park along the 16-mile tour.
