14-Mile Trail Hiking Patch Award

Fill out the application, located on this site, to receive your hiking awards. Please print your information clearly. Mark the desired award(s) beside the name of each applicant. If you have more than 25 applicants, continue the names/awards on a separate piece of paper and attach to the form provided. Check to be sure you have completed the answers to all eighteen questions on your answer sheet for required stations. Mail the completed application form, along with your check or money order to cover each 14-Mile Trail award ordered, to:

Did You Know?

Old Douglas Headstone, Cedar Hill Cemetery

The 43d Mississippi Infantry's mascot, Douglas the Camel, remained with the regiment until Vicksburg where he was killed by Union sharpshooters. Douglas is honored with his own grave marker in Vicksburg's Cedar Hill Cemetery.
