Volunteers Needed for National Public Lands Day
On Saturday, September 27, 2014, Vicksburg National Military Park is seeking volunteers to help cut and clear brush and debris from the Bethlehem Cemetery, an historic African-American cemetery within the park’s interior.

Vicksburg National Military Park Prohibits Unmanned Aircraft
Superintendent Michael Madell announced today that he has issued a directive, effective immediately, that prohibits the use of unmanned aircraft (including drones) within the boundaries of Vicksburg National Military Park.
