Military Park contain only limited information regarding
Confederate Soldiers. The park does not own or have access
to such items as military service, pension, or burial
records. This type of information of is typically owned
and maintained by the respective State
Archive,
historical associations, and Veterans organizations.
The following records for Confederate Soldiers and Sailors can be
found on the park website.

Cemetery
When known, the name, rank,
unit, date of death, section and grave site number in the
Cedar Hill (Vicksburg City) Cemetery.

Parole Records
After the siege, captured Confederate soldiers
surrendered their arms, signed a parole notice
promising not to take up arms against the United States
and were released
- Monuments
in memory of Confederate (CS) Commanders
The design, construction, and placement
of monuments were often donated by
family, friends and subordinates of the
leader. Consequently, some leaders are
not represented on the
battlefield.
