This unit was attached to Brig. Gen. Evander McNair’s Brigade, of Maj. Gen. Samuel G. French’s Division (organized 21 June 1863), Gen. Joseph E. Johnston’s Army of Relief, Department of the West, and commanded by Col. Henry G. Bunn. The unit is listed on a regimental marker to Arkansas units in Johnston’s Army of Relief, Department of the West.
