Monument located outside of Vicksburg National Military Park on former park property in the City of Vicksburg, on the lawn in front of Pemberton Plaza on Pemberton Blvd. This unit attached to Brig. Gen. Jacob G. Lauman's 4th Division, Maj. Gen. Cadwallader C. Washburn's XVI Army Corps (Detachment) [assigned to XIII Army Corps] and commanded by Capt. Benjamin F. Rogers.
