Monument located on Jackson Road behind Battery McPherson, near the eastern boundary of the park. This unit attached to Maj. Gen. John A. Logan's 3rd Division, Maj. Gen. James B. McPherson's XVII Army Corps and was commanded by Capt. Frederick Sparrestrom and Lt. John W. Lowell.
