Monument located on Grant Avenue across the road from the Rhode Island Memorial. Company D served on the gunboats Tyler and U.S.S. Tuscumbia and was commanded by Capt. Eberlee P.H. Stone. The company lost 1 officer killed (Lt. Samuel Bagley) and 2 enlisted men wounded during the bombardment of Grand Gulf, MS.
