Multiple monument on Union Avenue opposite the Michigan Memorial. This unit was attached to Col. Henry Bowman's 1st Brigade, of Brig. Gen. Thomas Welch's 1st Division, Maj. Gen. John G. Parke's IX Army Corps (Detachment), on Maj. Gen'l William T. Sherman's exterior line, and commanded by Lt. Col. Constant Luce.
