Multiple monument located on Grant Avenue, 100 yards east of Sherman Avenue. This unit was attached to Brig. Gen. Hugh T. Reid's 1st Brigade of Brig. Gen'l John McArthur's 6th Division, Maj. Gen. James B. McPherson's XVII Army Corps, and later Brig. Gen'l Hugh T. Reid's Post of Lake Providence [LA] in Brig. Gen'ls Jeremiah C. Sullivan (relieved 3 June 1863) and Elias S. Dennis' District of Northeast Louisiana, and commanded by Col. Benjamin Allen and Maj. Thomas Reynolds.
