This unit was posted at Hickman, Kentucky, and was attached to Brig. Gen. Alexander Asboth's 6th Division, District of Columbus (KY), Maj. Gen. Stephen A. Hurlbut's XVI Army Corps, and commanded by Capt. Edgar W. Blake. The Company was later assigned to Fort Donelson.
