52^nd Georgia Infantry

Iron tablet located outside of Vicksburg National Military Park on former park property in the City of Vicksburg, on Confederate Avenue south of Vicksburg Middle School. This unit was attached to Brig. Gen. Seth M. Barton’s 1st Brigade of Maj. Gen. Carter L. Stevenson’s Division, Lt. Gen. John C. Pemberton’s Army of Vicksburg and was commanded by Maj.
