Cottage Conversations - August 23rd and September 27th - Join us in a series of Cottage Conversations about Civil Rights. Reservations are required. In honor of the 50thAnniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the conversations will focus on Education and Criminal Justice with facilitators leading discussions about these important issues of the 21st Century

The Vanderbilt Mansion was the first home in the Town of Hyde Park to have electricity. It was generated by a hydroelectric power plant, located on Crum Elbow Creek that runs through the property.
