SPECIAL USE PERMITS

Valley Forge National Historical Park is home to many beautiful landscapes, monuments and historic sites that are ideal venues for a variety of special activities such as cultural programs, picnics, wedding ceremonies, and film and photography projects. If you are interested in any of these activities please review the information below to find out how you go about applying for a special use permit. Information on park locations and facilities, frequently asked questions about special use permits, and the applications for special use permits can be found at the link below. Did You Know?
You can jump on your bike at the Art Museum in center-city Philadelphia and ride the Schuylkill River Trail 20 miles to Valley Forge, and beyond. The Schuylkill River Trail and numerous connecting trails are constantly expanding, making it easy to walk or bike to the park.
