Teacher`s Institute presented by Valley Forge National Historical Park and Independence National Historical Park Join fellow teachers, scholars and National Park Service staff this summer as we explore using museum objects, documents, artwork, plays and scientific endeavors of the American Revolutionary War period in teaching across disciplines. We will explore the social and societal influences and stories of the all who participated in the events that shaped our nation using these materials as resources. Sessions are geared for teachers of all grade levels; focus is on the techniques of locating primary source material and using it creatively in the classroom.
