Valley Forge has released a draft White-tailed Deer Management Plan. Listen as Kris Heister highlights the alternatives of the plan and discusses how the public can access copies of the plan and submit comments to the park. Public comment period closes February 17, 2009.
Construction and rehabilition work continues around the Valley Forge Train Station. This month, get a sneak peak inside the as the work continues. See the progress of the interior and hear our plans for future displays and use of the building.

Did You Know?
None of the original soldier huts remain. The huts that you see in the park today are reproductions based on the model that General Washington wanted the soldiers to follow. Despite a lack of tools and the relative haste in which they were built, most served as decent shelters for the troops.
