The National Park Service (NPS) at Valley Forge National Historical Park has reissued the Philander Chase Knox Request for Proposals (RFP) with revised terms. Compared to the original RFP the revised terms include 1) clarification on the issues raised during the original question and answer process, 2) a lease term length of up to ten years, and 3) no minimum rent.

This lease opportunity will be open to all interested persons on a competitive basis. Whoever submits the proposal for each property, judged best under the proposal selection criteria, will be given an opportunity to negotiate a final lease agreeable to both the offeror and the National Park Service.

The Philander Chase Knox (PCK) house is a beautiful historical building with a rich history located in a private and picturesque setting. It is a truly exceptional place to hold events.

RFP Release Date
May 14, 2014
Lease the property for use as a venue for private events such as weddings and corporate retreats.
On Yellow Springs Road near the intersection of State Route 252.
Up to ten years.
