The Philander Chase Knox Estate currently houses the Horace Wilcox Library, a research library open to the public by appointment. The collection's emphasis is on the Revolutionary War era, in particular the Valley Forge encampment of 1777-1788. Materials on the political, social and industrial history of the Valley Forge area are also available.
