Road Closures

March 31, 2001

The United States Park Police will affect the following road closures on March 31, 2001, to accommodate the activities associated with the Cherry Blossom Parade:

           5:00 a.m.

·        Madison Drive @ 3^rd Street

·        Madison Drive @ 4^th Street

6:00 a.m.

·        Jefferson Drive @ 14^th Street

·        Ramp from 12^th Street to the National Mall

·        Jefferson Drive @ 7^th Street

·        Jefferson Drive @ 4^th Street

·        Madison Drive @ 7^th Street

·        Ramp from Constitution Avenue at 12^th Street to the National Mall

·        The White House Ellipse

·        The 16^th Street Oval (parking area for the Washington Monument)

·        Henry Bacon Drive @ Constitution Avenue

·        Lincoln Memorial Circle @ Henry Bacon Drive

9:15 a.m.

·        Madison Drive @ 14^th Street

·        Raul Wallenberg Place (used to be 15^th Street) @ Maine Avenue

·        15^th Street @ Independence Avenue

·        17^th Street @ Independence Avenue

·        Westbound Independence Avenue @ 23^rd Street

** During the peak blossom period, the United States Park Police will make any necessary road closures near the Tidal Basin area to facilitate the flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
