The Services Division is responsible for providing administrative and other support functions to the Force. The Service Division is comprised of the Administrative Branch, Technical Services Branch, and the Training Branch. |

ADMINISTRATIVE BRANCH |

| Budget and Data Systems Unit | The
primary responsibilities are computer programming,
information management, statistical reporting, payroll, purchasing, and
financial management. |

| Information Management Section | The primary responsibilities are the classification and maintenance of all police reports, official correspondence, memorandums, and other official Force documents. | |||||
| Financial Management Section | is responsible for all fiscal
activities of the Force
including payroll, travel, imprest, accounts payable, and accounts
receivable. |

HUMAN RESOURCES |

|
Human Resources Unit |
is
responsible for the implementation of a wide variety of human
resource programs, including recruitment of qualified candidates for police
and civilian positions, preparation of all personnel actions while
ensuring that these action are consistent with established position
ceilings, and
assistance to employees in matters pertaining to benefits such as health
and life insurance, civil service, social security, police and civilian
retirement programs, and incentive awards programs. |

Medical Services Section |
is responsible that mandated
health care programs are
effectively administered according to the provision of Title 4, D.C. Code. |

TECHNICAL SERVICES BRANCH |

| Communications Section | provides and coordinates various forms of communication in support of line and staff functions. | |||||
|

||||||
| Transportation and Equipment Section | is
responsible for the management and control of all property assigned
to the Force in the Washington metropolitan area. |

||||||
| Facilities Management Section | is
responsible for coordinating the Force's facilities needs with the
appropriated National Park Service officials and maintenance personnel. |

|
TRAINING BRANCH |

| Washington Metropolitan Area Training Section | is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective training program. They provide necessary training for law enforcement officers and civilian support personnel to accomplish the mission of the Force. The Training Branch ensures the integrity of the Force's training responsibilities by coordinating and monitoring Force training programs, budgetary expenditures, personnel activities, and policy compliance relating to the training process. | |||||
| FLETC Specialized | The specialized training staff at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) coordinates the basic recruit school and conducts other specialized training while Force officers are assigned to that facility. | |||||
