• After graduation, the starting salary for officers in the New York is $50,663 and San Francisco Field Offices starting salary is $53,137. Starting salary for officers in the Washington, DC, area is $48,470. These figures increase with night differential, Sunday premium pay, and overtime. 

• Overtime is compensated at a rate of time and one-half or compensatory time off.

• Annual leave earned at a rate of 13 to 26 days per year, based on length of Government service.

• Sick leave is earned at a rate of 13 days annually. There is no limit to the amount of sick leave a Force  member can accumulate.

• Ten paid federal holidays.
