 The United States Park Police advises of a:
 

Assault with a Deadly Weapon - Knife

 

 

The United States Park Police are investigating an assault with a deadly weapon - knife, that occurred in Rock Creek Park, Northwest, Washington DC. On Tuesday the 27th day of May 2008, at approximately 9:20 am, an adult white female was exercising at the west end of Bluff Bridge, west of Beach Drive, north of Piney Branch Parkway when an unknown male approached her from behind and placed a knife to her throat.Tthe female was able to flee from the subject. The subject was last seen running north on the un-paved west ridge foot trail, west of Beach Drive.

 

The subject is described as:

A dark compexion hispanic male, possibly mexican
Mid twenties
Spoke broken, understandable english
5'5 feet tall, thin build
Short Black Hair
Wearing a White - T-shirt with cut off sleeves
Light Blue jean Shorts
White Socks
Dark Sneakers
Armed with a six inch knife
