Contact: Loren Goering, 570 729-7574

Road work originally scheduled for August 13 and 14 has been delayed until Monday, August 17, 2009.  “The weather has forced them to postpone their work until Monday, commented Superintendent Vidal Martinez.  “On the plus side they now plan on completing the work in just one day.”

Motorists between Lackawaxen, PA and Minisink Ford, NY should be prepared for short delays crossing the Roebling Bridge.  Intermittent closures of the bridge will allow contractors to seal the cracks, apply a top coating, and line stripe the approach roads to the bridge.  Flaggers will direct traffic.

For information regarding the bridge closure call 570-729-8251.  On weekends and holidays call 845-557-0222.

American Shad
