Map of Grant's Operations against Vicksburg Vicksburg NMP St. Louis Area Boy and Girl Scouts Needed! Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site is planning to commemorate the 150th anniversary of General Grant's victory at Vicksburg, Mississippi on June 29th at 2:00 p.m. Scouts of all ages (individually or as a troop) are encouraged to participate in this event that will include a scout parade around the historic home. We need your help to make this a huge success! Call the site at 314/842-1867 and ask for Ranger Terry if you are interested in participating. He can provide additional information about the event and answer questions.
There are many fun opportunities for kids at Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site. Becoming a Junior Ranger is a great place to start. Be sure to also check out the NPS WebRangers web page for a wonderful online experience!
