Anthropology Professor Dr. Thomas E. Sheridan will use power point images to illustrate his talk on the subject of his latest book, “Landscapes of Fraud: Mission Tumacácori, the Baca Float, and the Betrayal of the O’odham.” Come and explore with Dr. Sheridan how the penetration of the evolving capitalist world-system created and destroyed communities in the upper Santa Cruz Valley of Arizona from the late 1600’s to the 1970´s.

The lecture will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Old Nogales Courthouse, 21 East Court Street, Nogales, Arizona.
