Tumacacori, AZ - Tumacácori National Historical Park will be joining national park units across the country in celebrating Veterans Day with fee-free entry into the park.

The 398 units of the National Park System preserve and protect many of the country's most significant scenic and cultural places. Visit our website at https://www.nps.gov/pub_aff/veterans/honor.htm for information on National Park Service battlefields, military parks and historic sites that commemorate the service of American veterans.

"This is just one small way that we can recognize and honor the men and women who are serving, or have served our country as members of the military," said Tumacácori Superintendent Bob Love.

This year, the fee-free designation will apply to the Veteran's Day holiday weekend - Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, November 10, 11 and 12.

Park visitors are reminded that the fee-free designation applies to entrance fees only and does not affect fees for camping at national parks. The Tumacácori visitor center will have Tumacácori Annual Passes, along with Interagency Senior and Annual Passes available for those who wish to purchase them.
