Description

The structures and ruins at Tumacácori have been standing for well over 200 years and are made of nothing more than mud, rocks, and sticks. Explore the engineering principles that make it all possible.

Come prepared to get dirty as you work with mud, plaster, and attempt to build a load-bearing structure from native materials. An architectural tour of the mission is included but this is primarily a hands-on, experimental activity. Very STEM-friendly!
