Carver Museum Reopening Date-- The Oaks Open for Tours
The Carver Museum will reopen on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 10:00 am CST. Oaks tours continue to be available Monday-Saturday 9:00, 10:30, 1:00, 2:30, and 4:00 CST. Due to the sequester, effective March 10, 2013 the park is closed on Sundays

Did You Know?
Luther H. Foster, the fourth President of Tuskegee Institute, was the glue that held the school together through the turbulent Civil Rights Movement of the 1950's-1960's which had early roots in Tuskegee. In 1957 Gommillion vs. Lightfoot overturned gerrymandering laws in Tuskegee and Macon County.
