Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) for Understanding the New Transportation Bill

The Park Roads and Parkways Program (PRPP) and the Transportation Management Program (TMP) along with a panel of subject matter experts from the Federal Lands Highway headquarters presented a TEL event training that reviewed the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU). Many provisions within the bill relate to the NPS. Included in the TEL event was a SAFETEA-LU Overview; how the enacted amount affects the PRPP and it's deferred maintenance backlog; the new Alternative Transportation in Parks and Public Lands Program; Other Related Programs; Earmarks; and a Questions and Answer Session.
