How Will the Results be Used?

The Training Manager for Universal Competencies, and those who assist him/her, will use the results of the Needs Assessments to prioritize both the development of training events and the allocation of available funding. The results of the Needs Assessment do not stand alone, however; anecdotal evidence, upper management priorities and emphases, and other factors contribute to decision-making. This is the first time that the National Park Service has asked field employees to be involved in the process. Their responses are essential to ensuring that the Training Community meets the needs of NPS employees.
