“Compass II: Today’s Leaders, Tomorrow’s Legends”

This classroom course provides an overview of most of the Universal Competencies, and is a prerequisite for “Compass V” (see below).  This forty-hour classroom course is offered at various locations around the country. “Compass V:  Working Together”

As currently designed, this forty-hour classroom course is the culmination of all Universal Competencies training.  Emphasis will be on teamwork and leadership skills and on ‘pulling together’ all preceding Universal Competencies training completed by participants. It is currently under development by Indiana University and NPS staff.  It is scheduled to be piloted in FY2001.
