Located on Camp Hill, on the former Storer College Campus (1867-1955) in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Harpers Fery is located along U.S. Route 340 approximately 65 miles west of Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, Maryland.

Summer climates are generally hot and humid. Winters are generally cold with variable precipitation. Recommend layers of clothing, especially in spring.

Public transportation includes rental vehicles from major airports (Baltimore-BWI), (Washington/Dulles-IAD), and (Washington/Reagon-DCA). Amtrak's Capital Limited stops at Harpers Ferry daily with westbound service from Washington, D.C., and eastbound from Pittsburg and Chicago.
