The New Superintendent

 

Description: This 8-day course is designed for newly assigned superintendents.  It will focus on NPS organizational values, experiences, and the knowledge and skills required to effectively fulfill the role and responsibilities of superintendents. Panel discussions will include senior members of NPS well versed in knowledge and experience with numerous policy and programmatic areas.  In addition, Regional Directors will be available throughout the course as resource persons, coaches, and official participants.  The course is based on a case study format which will integrate the knowledge competencies with skill competencies and participants will problem solve utilizing the case method and discussion.
