Description: This competency requires the ability to manage Maintenance operations in a multicultural environment, and the ability to assess and oversee the use of technologies appropriate to the cultural context.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of techniques for formulating, administering, and evaluating policies and programs in multicultural environments.

Ability to work with diverse groups and individuals in the community to develop and implement policies and procedures that benefit the resource and the public.

Ability to analyze and make use of demographic and other visitor and resource-related data when developing maintenance management plans and policies.

Knowledge of the appropriateness of technologies in different settings.

Ability to adapt and use technologies to benefit the resource and ensure public safety and enjoyment.
