Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of the application of UFAS and ADAAG in new construction, renovation, and maintenance of facilities and buildings.

Knowledge of the necessary components of accessibility evaluation and the necessary abilities to develop an action plan to correct deficiencies.

Knowledge of unique standards and guidelines for access to special programs and areas, such as wilderness, outdoor areas, and cultural/historic resource areas.

Knowledge of the complaint process and the ability to coordinate the investigation and resolution of official complaints.
