Knowledge of basic budget and account structures, including organization codes, account numbers, object classes
Knowledge of procedures relating to the preparing bill for payment
Knowledge of U.S. Treasury and agency rules for concerning the third party draft program
DEVELOPMENTAL LEVEL
Description: These competencies identify the Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required to provide general information and assistance on issues relating to budget submissions, budget procedures and guidelines. The employee works independently with review of the supervisor.

General knowledge of the Federal budget process and of the general legislative process
Knowledge of the applicable computer programs and printouts

Knowledge of the various forms used in budget formulation and execution and the preparation/correct use of each
Knowledge of the technical aspects of budget procedures and the ability to communicate such knowledge to others
