"When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the universe." -John Muir-
Building Partnership A partnership includes two or more parties that share time, money or efforts toward a common interest. Among the common interests of the park and its partners is a marginal increase in visitation, conservation and appreciation of cultural and natural resources. To facilitate a cohesive collaboration between the two parties, the Office of Tourism uses a Market-Based Model to guide the process.
With initial awareness and trial we hope to engage the public on a life continuum, encouraging a lifelong practice of park stewardship. From the child who grows up to be a Park Ranger to the active adult that volunteers, everyone can give back to our country's cultural and natural attributes in their own way, with individual talents, towards a unified effort of maintaining America's treasures.
