Teacher to Ranger to Teacher

Hey Teachers!

Did you ever wish you could be a Park Ranger? Through the Teacher to Ranger to Teacher (TRT) program, you can spend your summers as a Park Ranger in America's National Parks!

During the summer of 2009, the Timucuan Preserve offered the TRT program for the first time. Two history teachers from Duval County Public Schools worked at the park, creating new lesson plans for teachers, talking with visitors, and even writing and acting in a park film!

General information and the open positions for 2010 can be found at the TRT program homepage. Keep an eye out for exciting opportunities in our parks - locally and nationally.
