November 10, 2004 Florida School of the Deaf and Blind To Whom It May Concern: We, at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind, are writing to say thank you for allowing us to visit, learn about, and explore your park. We all enjoyed the packet you put together for us, and thought it was very informative. Looking at the old dolls, marbles, and jars was neat and working with the cotton and getting the seeds out was fun. We liked exploring around the slave cabins and hanging out at the waterfront. All in all, Kingsley Plantation is neat and a great example of an 1800’s plantation in Florida. You have preserved and kept up the buildings and land very well. We hope to come back to tour the house and learn more about Kingsley family and the plantation soon. Once again, thank you for our visit.
