Caves closed for the season
Timpanogos Cave National Monument caves, cave trail, and visitor center are closed for the season. Caves are scheduled to open again mid-May 2015.

Seasonal Hours for Cave, Cave Trail, and Visitor Center:
The visitor center and caves are open 7:00am - 5:30 pm. The last cave tour starts up the trail at 3:30 on weekdays and 4:00 on weekends. .
Cave tours for the 2014 season will run May 10-Sept 28. The visitor center and caves are closed October - April
Although tours are available throughout the day, all tours may be reserved up to 30 days in advance. Tours are limited to 16 people per tour. Visitors are encouraged to call and purchase tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
Timpanogos Cave Snack Bar and Gift Shop is located adjacent to the visitor center. It is open daily during the summer season. Call (801) 756-5702 for more information.
Restrooms and a pay phone are available at the visitor center, and pit toilets are available just before the cave entrance.
Did You Know?
At an elevation of 11,750 ft, Mt. Timpanogos is the 2nd highest mountain in Utah’s Wasatch Range. The word Timpanogos (tim´pa no´gas) comes from the Timpanogots Ute tribe who lived in the surrounding valleys from A.D. 1400. The name translates as rock (tumpi-), and water mouth or canyon (panogos).
