David Stone is Thomas Stone's father. Thomas' mother was Elizabeth Jenifer.

Thomas Stone's Brothers and Sisters

Thomas Stone had five brothers and three sisters:

Frederick Stone (?-1773)

Michael Jenifer Stone (1747-1812) lived at Haberdeventure with Thomas and served in the first Federal Congress

John Hoskins Stone (1750-1804) became governor of Maryland

Daniel Jenifer Stone (ca. 1752-1773)

Walter Stone (?-1791) lived at Haberdeventure with Thomas

Grace Stone (?-1809) lived at Haberdeventure with Thomas

Elizabeth Anne Stone (?-1795) lived at Haberdeventure with Thomas and married Townsend Eden

Catherine Stone (?-1801) married Robert Scott and lived at Haberdeventure with Thomas

Thomas also had two half-brothers and two half-sisters. These are the children of David Stone and Sarah Hanson:

Mary Stone birth date and death date unknown

Thomas Stone's wife and children

Thomas Stone married Margaret Brown (1751-1787) in 1768; together they had three children:

Margaret Stone (1771-1809) married John Moncure Daniel and moved to Stafford County, Virginia

Mildred Stone (1773-1837) married Travers Daniel (John Moncure's brother) and moved to Stafford County, Virginia

Fredrick Stone (1774-1793) died without marrying or having any children
