Student Conservation Association

The Student Conservation Association (SCA) is a nonprofit organization that was created in 1957 to serve as a liaison between young people and conservation organizations. It is committed to conservation, resource management, and volunteer service and conducts resource management and conservation programs. SCA recruits and places high school and college students, and individuals already out of school, into volunteer positions within federal, state, and local government agencies as well as private nonprofit agencies and organizations.
