Dakota Nights: An Astronomy Festival
September 19-21, 2014
Join astronomers, rangers, and historians as they come together for a three-day festival celebrating North Dakota's starry nights and rich heritage! Stand under the expansive night sky that influenced cultures of American Indian tribes, inspired modern space exploration, and is still yours to experience today!

Theodore Roosevelt National Park and Historic Medora welcome you to evenings of star viewing, presentations
by nationally recognized speakers, rocket building and launching, solar system hikes, and much more as we celebrate Dakota Nights!

Festival activites are free (except where noted). Entrance fees to Theodore Roosevelt National Park still apply.

Theodore Roosevelt National Park would like to thank this year's sponsors: Medora Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, Medora Chamber of Commerce, Friends of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, the National Environmental Education Foundation Program - sponsored by Toyota and channeled through the Theodore Roosevelt Nature and History Association, Chateau de Mores State Historical Site, Dickinson State University, Bryce Canyon National Park, Badlands Ministries, Custer Cottages, and our many volunteers!
