  • North Unit Road Closure

    The North Unit Scenic Drive will be closed at the Caprock Coulee parking area while repairs are in progress. Repairs may be delayed because of weather conditions, but are expected to be completed by May 15.

7:00 PM: Traditional Stories Under the Heavens by Dakota Goodhouse at the Cottonwood Campground Amphitheater

Dakota Goodhouse, an enrolled member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, has studied winter counts for over ten years! Join Goodhouse as he shares stories about the stars and astronomical events which appear in the winter count he keeps.

(Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Lawn chairs are welcome.)

8:00 PM: World-class astronomers reveal the mysteries of the heavens through
Constellation Tours and Stargazing with 10+ Telescopes at Peaceful Valley Ranch.
