In the 1940's and 50's almost every park had a Graflex camera, or even a "Brownie" -- one of the rangers would be designated "Park Photographer" and most events -- great and small were duly recorded. The "Park Photographer" usually developed the film and made contact prints in a primative darkroom. The notes attached to the old photographs or the negative envelops are included. Click on the small images to retrieve a larger view and the photographers notations.
