The Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site has completed renovations and is once again open to the public! In addition to physical upgrades to the Inaugural Site, we have also developed exciting new exhibits and interpretation to tell the story of Theodore Roosevelt's 1901 inauguration in exciting and engaging new ways.

We have reopened to the public as of June 20, 2009!

The Site offers many special events throughout the year, including walking tours, holiday events, lectures, and family and children's events.

Lectures: Special one-day presentations on various historical topics.

Public Speaking Contest: For high school students in Erie and Niagara counties, NY.

September 14th Inauguration Commemoration: Annual commemoration of the 1901 inauguration of Theodore Roosevelt in Buffalo, NY.

Single-Date Guided Walking Tours: One-day programs of local historic neighborhoods and architectural areas.

Weekly Guided Walking Tours: Tours of Buffalo's historic Allentown District.

Teddy Bear Picnic: An annual festival for the younger set. (Ages 3-12)

Summer Camp: Adventure Week

Allentown Art Festival: The TR Inaugural Site is open to the public during the Allentown Art Festival.

Victorian Christmas: Annual holiday event.
