An entrance pass is not required to access Thaddeus Kosciuszko National Memorial.

Other National Park Service sites may require an entrance pass or fee. Depending on your trip plans, an interagency pass may save you money.

Thaddeus Kosciuszko found many ways to pass the time while recovering from his wounds, like playing chess, drawing in his sketch book, and visiting with friends.

The site is open Saturdays and Sundays, 12 noon to 4 pm. Admission is free.

Due to the site's limited hours, visitors are advised to phone the Independence Visitor Center at the above number. Rangers at the visitor center (open 7 days a week) can answer questions and provide information about the Thaddeus Kosciuszko National Memorial
