Junior Ranger Program: Children visiting the Thaddeus Kosciuszko National Memorial can become a Junior Ranger by picking up a Junior Ranger Activity Book with activities for children ages five and  Participants who attend at least one ranger program and complete five activities will earn a Junior Ranger badge.

Albert Gallatin remained active after retiring from the government. In 1831, at age seventy, he was named president of the new National Bank of New York. He served on the council that established New York University in 1831. He founded the American Ethnological Society in 1842, at age eighty-one.
