I Notice, I Wonder: Bullfrog

Acadia National Park, located in the state of Maine, has a great deal of animal diversity. Due to the number of lakes and ponds, Acadia is a great place to see a variety of reptiles and amphibians.   

In Acadia National Park, there are Bullfrogs, Gray Tree Frogs, Spring Peepers, Green Frogs, Pickerel Frogs, Wood Frogs, and American Toads. There are over 5,000 types of frogs and toads around the world. 



Have students observe the American Bullfrog video and generate I Notice, I wonder statements. These statements help promote descriptive observations, thoughtful questions, & relatable connection and can be used to complement a student-centered discussion.
