I Notice, I Wonder: Bar Island

Acadia National Park, located on the coast of the state of Maine, has many unique shorelines. In Acadia we can have as much as a 8-12 foot tide difference. That means that during low tide incredible features like "land bridges" are suddenly apparent. 

Have students observe the Bar Island video and generate I Notice, I wonder statements. These statements help promote descriptive observations, thoughtful questions, & relatable connection and can be used to complement a student-centered discussion.
